There once was a man who built his home in the stars. He called himself the Doctor, and his eyes were the colour of the sky through which he sailed. A boy and his little blue box, exploring the galaxies hidden behind our skies.
I took his hand and in return, he took me away from my broken world; he showed me the galaxies out there, and also the ones that were hidden inside my bones. Together, we conquered the stars, of which he was the brightest one of all.
He risks his life for the universe — a lonely god, travelling through space and time, putting right the wrongs of others. Legend has it that he has two hearts, one full of courage, and the other full of love.
His eyes reflect the baby blues of the sky on a cloudy day, and he doesn’t look a day over thirty, but if you look closely, past his irises and the black of his pupils, you’ll see them — the ghosts of all the people he’s lost, and the shadow of a time when he was truly happy.
I no longer know the man from the stars with the golden hair and blue eyes, but I do know that he’s out there. Maybe I’ll see him again someday, when I hear the whir of his little blue box. He once told me that in all his years of travel, he had never met a single person who wasn’t important. I was never religious, but I can say with confidence that I would’ve followed him anywhere.
this picture is all well and good but
do you see it
"John, this is Jack, our best analyst. You’ll be working together on this one."
I got my heart right here
I got my scars right here
And that’s my motherfucking words too
So let me motherfucking love you
You Make Me Brave
There are some things I thought I’d always be scared of. Flying, space and all it’s vast openness with any number of nasty things waiting for you. I never thought I’d find something to hold onto but whenever I’m scared, even if I can’t admit it, I turn around and you’re there. Without me knowing it you became my support, my friend, the one thing that made me feel like things will be okay. You make me want to do my best, you make me brave.

He has a habit of making stupid decisions that fuck up whatever life he’s living at the moment. (He really needs to break it.)
But he packs up anyway, grabs whatever IDs he has left into a small bag and hightails it off the Enterprise. (Of course, he had to break Scotty’s nose knocking him out in the process. He feels real guilty about it.)
